My name is Katya, and I'm Paris based photographer.
In my work, I draw inspiration from the photographers of the 80s and 90s and strive to capture people as they are - unique, fragile, and authentic. That's why, during a shoot, posing gives way to not posing at all.
Film photography is an essential part of my work and the most accurate way to convey a person's atmosphere and character. That's why more than half of the shots in my portfolio are taken on film. And I truly believe that film isn't a trend - it's a classic of photography.
