This spring, I spotted Sophie Marceau, got rained on constantly, traveled to Calais and Amiens, played with friend's cat, biked all over the city nonstop, and waited for another date with Renoir. Paris has become dear to me!
Soft light, beautiful facades, happy dogs, and scenic bridges - that's Paris. Sometimes I bike through the city with my camera, just waiting for the right moment.
For some reason, when I travel, capturing the road itself becomes more important to me. Back in my hometown, there were no such scenic roads - Engels is rich in steppes and fields. But here in Europe, these mountains.. every time they make me reach for my camera.
This trip, we had time to warm up at a spa in the Austrian Alps, freeze and feast in downtown Munich, and spend 2.5 hours lost in the Mercedes Museum. Loved it!
After moving over 3,000 kilometers away, coming back home feels like a vacation to an exotic destination - and every year, that vacation gets more expensive in every sense.
For the first time in several years, I spent my entire time at home with my younger sister. We walked, took photos, worked on renovating the apartment, talked a lot, and watched series together. May this happen more often :)
